A simple work, a meeting point between East and West. As a 'verb' produces a resonant wave, so does the call of Sharjah Foundation that echoes in a possible multiplication of voices and actions.

There is a game, kid, in which you constantly repeat a word until it changes, becomes unrecognizable and eventually only a sound.
Lailan – the name – which is the sound of the project, inspires a possible change through the propagation of sounds, voices and ideas. The repetition of a sound generates a graphical sinusoid which becomes a matrix, producing a wave pattern of the surface of the sculpture.
The set of shapes corresponds to geometries that belong to a universal background in a natural and cultural sense. The sense of turning, the circle, the wave, the repetition, the rhythm, the prayer, the choir, the axis, the reference, the horizon and the landing, the light, the shadow, the spirit, the body ...
